I learned that every religion has something that is symbolic and sacred to them; For Judaism, they believe that the Torah is sacred. In Christianity, the Bible and Jesus are sacred. In Hinduism, the conch, which is blown three times, is sacred. And in Buddhism, a sacred bracelet worn to services and Nirvana is special and symbolic to them. In conclusion, every religion has the central belief of good, but every religion is also different in that it has its own symbol.

I learned many things but one thing that really stuck out to me was that all the priests respected each other and agreed on many things,I really thought differently on that.Another thing was that how like Sarah said haunnka wasn't a major holiday. Finally,i noticed that all the religions have built apon each other they kind of don't have a real route maybe I should look into that some more.

I thought it was super interesting that the speakers gave us a clearer view of each of the religions. My favorite was the Judaism speaker because not only did I learn that Hanukah was not a major holiday (which shocked me ) ,but that Judaism itself is all about certain happenings from the past ,like the Exodus. These things are basically taught through writings like the Torah. The presentations from all the visitors were very interesting.

I learned that the Jewish Torah takes a year to read. But what confuses me though is that my dad read the whole Christian Bible in a year also, and the Torah is five books, and the Bible is 66 books, including the Torah. I am still curious why this is so. But I also learned that the Buddhists have necklaces with 108 beads, resembling the 108 ways one can be deceived by life.

I had no idea that Hanukah was not a major celebration, I was really surprised to hear that. Also, I think it was really cool that all 4 of the speakers respected each others opinions and statements on their religion. When i first thought of people all together explaining their own religions they would not act as if the other religion was just as important as their own.
